I wanted to take a moment to thank your firm for taking the time to help our firm out in a what I would qualify as an emergency.

Our firm had a display booth at the League of Cities conference at the SD Convention Center. On the eve before the event, we were setting up our booth, when we realized one of our light fixtures for our display was burned out. Of course we did not have an extra bulb with us. It was 7:00 PM, and we needed to be up and operating by 9:00 AM the next day. Compounding the situation, we were in need of a T3 "short" bulb, which I guess are hard to come by. I left a message on the voicemail at your firm (Urban Lighting), explaining the situation and what we needed. Meanwhile, I had a restless night and spent quite a bit of time on the Internet trying to find someplace that sells these bulbs. To my surprise, I received a phone call prior to 9:00 AM that morning from your firm, indicating you had the bulb and that your showroom was so close to the Convention Center, you could actually see it out your window. When I walked over to the store, I was greeted with a smile and handed the bulb. Not only did you have what I needed, you gave the bulb to me at no cost. You truly saved the day!

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us out in a bind. I have copied my good friend, Ray Swartz, who owns an electrical engineering firm, in the hope that if they haven’t had the chance to do business with you, they will in the future they will. Again thank you!

Its such a pain that if a San Diegan or designer wants to adorn their or their client's modern pad with cool lighting they are forced to drive to L.A. Until I found Urban Lighting this is just what I was doing. They offer unique contemporary/modern lighting for every application. They are very accomodating to designers too! I went in and they right away offered catalogs and helpfulness. No Snot! Woohoooo!

What a great find: This is a terrific lighting store. After my partner and I had spent months searching local lighting stores, we happened upon this little gem downtown. The service was professional, friendly and most of all, they knew what they were doing! We are thrilled with the products, the quality and the appearance of our fixtures. We would not go anywhere else for our lighting needs.

I had the opportunity to purchase a beautiful floor lamp, a display / sale item directly off the showroom floor from Urban Lighting. When I got home with the lamp I discovered a problem with the dimmer. Tim had the part ordered and in just a few days the lamp was completely repaired, and I still enjoy the lamp 2 years later. Since then I have purchased system / track lighting and a table lamp for my loft in San Diego, and as usual very pleased with the product lines and the impeccable service.

It was always a pleasure to work with Tim. He was smart, thorough, diligent, trustworthy, eager to learn and stepped in whenever or wherever the business needed, fun and a killer salesperson! As he used to say "Sell, Sell, Sell" and he did, did, did! I highly recommend him.

I am definitely coming to your store to buy some lighting for my new place... you have no idea how excited I am that I found you. I am putting you on one of my FAVORITE stores ever!!
